Brian was born in a small farming community just outside of Regina. He spent much of his earlier life in that community along with farming cattle production and a small ag business. In 1984 Brian started another career in real estate and built his business up and excels in working with agricultural and commercial ventures.

Brian was very active with the first nations in land claims, land assembly, and reserve creation. Along with this he also did other commercial ventures such as hotels, industrial, and acreages.
